WINTER OLYMPICS FOOD COLLECTION
Due to the snow for the last 2 weeks and cancellations of church services, the Outreach Committee has reschedule the “Souper” Sunday food collection for February 14th and February 21st to coincide with the Winter Olympics. This is a great way for families to learn more about the different countries from around the world that are represented at the Olympics and help our community as well. Select a country or two that are represented at the Olympics and select some food items that might represent that country. For example, for Canada a good choice would be pancake mix and maple syrup, for Italy a box of spaghetti and spaghetti sauce, for Mexico maybe a can of corn and a can of chili, or for Ireland a can of potatoes and a can of stew. Are there foods that your family eats that families in other countries might eat as well? (The needs of the closet right now are canned meats, canned fruits, oatmeal, pancake mix, jelly, canned stews and chili, spaghetti and spaghetti sauce, complete meals) Please place food items in the last pew on the left and right side of the church. The Outreach committee will be counting the number of items that are collected over the next 2 weeks.

LENTEN SERIES (KID-to-KID PROGRAM)
Kid-to-Kid will be providing a companion Lenten Series for youth ages 5 to 11 from 7:00 to 7:45. Their investigation into Divine Love will focus on love within the family and love as a feeling and thought.
Women’s Retreat – May 7th & 8th
The retreat will be at Richmond Hill. Cost is $55 per person. No program has been set yet, but we’ll keep you posted. For more information contact Irene Hollins @ 730-1540.
